Guided Bird Walks at Mission Trails Regional Park
Join MTRP Trail Guide and resident Birder, Jeanne Raimond, on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8 to 10 a.m. for an adventure in Bird Watching! If you have binoculars and/or a field guide, please bring them along.

January 21 - Grasslands/Spring Cyn - Meet in Equestrian Staging Area lot
February 18 - Oak Grove Loop - Meet in front of Visitor Center
March 17 - Lake Murray - Meet in parking lot off Kiowa Drive
April 21 - Old Mission Dam - Meet in the OMD parking lot
May 19 - Kumeyaay Lake - Meet in campground day use parking lot
June 16 - Visitor Center Loop - Meet in front of Visitor Center
July 21 - Lake Murray - Meet on the north side of the lake by Murray Park Dr. and Belle Glade Ave. & park in dirt lot by ball fields
* No morning bird walk in August / Friday evening Owl Prowls instead (see events calendar)
September 15 - Old Mission Dam - Meet in the OMD parking lot
October 20 - Kumeyaay Lake - Meet in campground day use parking lot
November 17 - Oak Grove Loop - Meet in front of Visitor Center
December 15 - Lake Murray - Meet in parking lot off Kiowa Drive
